All Sat. practices will now be at 12 noon

Barnes has been with the organization since 2004 and has been a huge part of the un-parralled success of the organization. He has been a defensive back on every championship team and has earned All-American honors several times. Barnes is currently the Head Football Coach at Castlemont High School in Oakland Ca.

He was awarded Oakland Athletic League Coach of the year in 2008 leading his team to the Silver bowl for the first time in school history.  Islanders give back to Pacifica

Dec 19, 2009 Pacifica, Ca. The Pacifica Islanders players, staff and their families donated their time this Saturday to help the Pacifica Historical Society. The task at hand was to help restore one of Pacifica's oldest buildings, The Little Brown Church. Once completed it will become Pacifica's official historical museum.

The team spent the day removing the old plaster & lathe from the walls and loading it into dumpsters. The volunteers enjoyed refreshments provided by the historical society for breaks and lunch provided by L&L Barbeque of Pacifica.
